Can you suggest how I can cultivate interest in my Son, Indraneel to eat Fruits? He doesn't like to eat any fruit. He is 2 and a half years old now.

Hi parikshit - it is tough! U can make fruit chaats, teach fruits while eating them, try smoothies, read a story about fruits, look for a song on fruits, look for a peppa pig or pepper story/vid on the benefits of eating fruit. In my child's playschool they wud have a special fruit break where it was mandatory for all kids to bring & eat a fruit. All the best!

Thanks for tagging asha chaudhry , will share my experience

make fruit smoothies, freeze in ice candy/kulfi tray and give, arrange fruits in funny face shapes or birds, animals shapes etc, cut fruits and make fruit lollypop on toothpick etc. Try to bring fun into it....

Parikshit Rane i have a fussy eater too who hated fruits so while he was below one year i fed him purees like banana puree, apple puree , cheekoo puree etc. Now since he is 1.5 i try to give shakes and smoothies as he doesnt like raw fruits ( if i try he has a small part of it , so i prefer shakes). I also prepare fruit custard, flavored yoghurt, apple/banana muffins at home to balance the fruit requirement .
Also since he has started understanding sentences , getting rewarded to finish fruits also works :)

Thanks Asha, Neha and Sheeba for the suggestions.
