Congratulations! By when are you planning for a baby?
Congratulations! How many weeks are you?
I have a
2 years old baby
whatever you will have in a meal will have effect on the milk you produce. taste of milk will slightly change but not necessarily it will effect the amount of your breast milk.
Spicy food does not make the milk spicy and sweet food does not make the milk sweet. With that logic eating chocolate will not produce chocolate flavored breast milk. What is important to note is whether it suits you. If you are comfortable then go ahead. If not then avoid.
whtever u eat will not effect ur breast milk ar taste of milk it will effect on baby digestion baby is not able to digest ...
I don't think so Binti. it might of course change slight flavour maybe. coz I am a spice lover and I never stopped eating spicy food. my baby is absolutely fine. no problem. but of course don't overdo it that's all.
It doesn't effect your breast milk, but main thing it should be comfortable for you and for baby , some times for some babies spicyness doesn't suit so one day you observe that and go ahead.
you can eat whatever suits your body & baby digestive system..
let it be in limit. spicy or any food will not effect on BM.
it will surely affect
not at all
yes it will affect baby.. as my grand ma says, Jo bhi Maa khati hai uske milk se baby ko milta hai. spicy food se shayad milk ka taste na badle par baby aap ke milk ke through spice khana(milk) khayega..
aur ho sakta h wo abhi 1 month ka hi h.. uska digestive system spice ko disest kar paye ki nahi.. maybe use loose motion ho sakte h.. as grandma says..
So atleast baby 4 ya 5 month ka ho jaye tb aap dhire dhire spicy food start kar sakte ho..
not at all....only baby's digestion system is affected...

So many varied views from both sides. 🤔
please pay heed to sonali. she is my ultimate go to expert guide :) i have ebf my baby for six months and continue to do so and never bothered about what were spice levels in food. so go ahead and grab that samosa !
spicy food doesn't effect on bm. but it will effect your baby as he may have gas and digestive problems. better to avoid till you bf. plz take good nutritious food.
nutrition from food goes to breast milk....not taste.....this is all old tales.....nothing like that....eat nutritious food, taste wont matter....just follow doctors advice, has the doc told u not to eat spicy food.....there u have it....how can chilli powder in ur food travel all the way to breast milk....no logic.....also medically impossible....

taste of the food you eat and breastmilk has no connection scientifically.. This is all an old wives tale that is conjured due to lack of correct information.. as they say ignorance is bliss
