Hi Sushma. Congrats on your new born, this is great news.

Good to know that you are breastfeeding. Don't be worried about ur milk being insufficient. There is nothing called insufficient milk for baby. I advise that you keep feeding the child. For any concerns reach out to a lactation consultant. We have many listed on Babychakra, I can connect you to a few. In mean time do not give up on breastfeeding and your baby will gain weight over a period of time.

Dr. Riddhi Kataria

Hi.
If you are feeding your baby 10-12 times in 24 hours, baby passes urine 6-10 times minimum and potty 1-2 times, baby is gaining weight gradually, then nothing to worry., weight has double the birth weight by the 6th month.
Check all these parameters and then lets check if everything is okay or no

Thanks Dr Riddhi.. ya she passes urine 6-10 times and does potty once a day, sometimes twice a day..

What was the birth weight? & current weight,?

Sushma Devaru

birth weight was 3kg and current weight is 6.2kg

Dr. Riddhi Kataria

Baby s weight gain is good so nothing to worry
