In most cases there is no effect on the baby. The risk of the baby getting congenital varicella syndrome is only two percent. The doctor will do follow up ultrasound s to ensure that there are no birth defects. If you like you can meet a genetic counselor to reassure yourself. A detailed ultrasound will pick up any issues easily. If your doctor appears satisfied then just relax.

Since all other parameters are normal the length being a little shorter can be accepted. Get the seventh month scan done and a doctor's check up and post that take a call on the travel aspect.
