Q:

M too much worried about my baby not latching on right nipple..it is inverted and releases too much milk..she just doesn't take it and milk overflows outside..what to do???

Abhilasha Paul

It happened with me also....try using a nipple puller or a syringe to pull out the nipple. If it doesn't work then use a nipple shield. I am using it and it's working good for me and baby. Only con is shields need sterilization everytime u use it.

Use breast pump and express ur milk and give it baby the milk in a bottle.

Umm well..baby is just 2 weeks old... I won't recommend bottle feed. I myself tried doing so as I had engorged breats, so I pumped and gave..result was baby did vomiting. I think too early for bottle feed.

Hey keep trying .it happens ...gradually the baby will learn to do it ..else go for a nipple shield , it helps . Tc

Nipple shield didn't work for me..she doesn't suck plastic nipple..even breast pump couldn't collect milk.. 😣

Kritika pls try to express and give from that breast. Do hot towel warm compression to soften nipple and to avoid engorgement.
