Q:

insufficient breast milk please need urgent help

Sheeba Vijesh

Its a myth to think you have insufficient breast milk.. Our body works on demand and supply basis... the more baby drinks, the more milk you will produce... please go through my post on my page on breast feeding.. it will help

Charu Sareen Gujjal(TheMomSagas)

Try to feed baby as often as you can. Check your latch position. Offer both the sides to the baby  one after the other. Meet a lactation consultant if you think the problem persists.

Arwa Hozefa

have lots of suji and coconut.  helps with milk production

Tanvi Sampat

Yes m hvng lots of fluids n coconut n bajri n stuff all that v have but specifically at night my baby keeps waking up n crying for milk n m not able to feed him full

Neeta Nihale

hello tanvi.. may be your baby cries for some other reason. .m agree with sheeba and charu.
how month old is your baby??

Subha

eat fish. it works

Tanvi Sampat

My baby is 3 days old.....n can't eat fish m pure veg

Subha

ok. there are lots of veggies that helps to boost supply. and your baby is just 3 days old right, so improper latch is the only reason for making you to feel like your milk is insufficient. initially the colostrum that comes is in very small quantity, like half spoon, but that much is enough for your baby's stomach. later if baby latches and sucks well secretion will be good. try to latch your baby well by seeing YouTube videos. or else you can also consult any lactation consultant in your area.

Subha

all the problems will be solved only if latch is good. so correct it as soon as possible

Sheeba Vijesh

yes , your problem is incorrect latching... baby is not getting to drink as per her hunger... get help from a lactation specialist

Hetal Kachhadiya

Dear Tanvi... first of all keep urself calm and collected... the little one is just 3 days old....I had the same problem...and panicked more due to social pressure which decreased the supply more... I finally had to start top feed as my daughter had dehydration fever and doc suggested to start formula... jus keep trying ur best but also keep a check that the baby is not dehydrated... wish u all the best
