Q:

Hi... I can't breastfeed milk because of latching problem. I pump out milk from manual breast pump but very little. I have to give him formula milk. What can I do to increase milk supply. Please help.

It's always better if baby could drink. More it sucks.. more it milk will be produced. Even when feeding formula milk..make it drink in a small spoon. if baby once get used to bottle...they won't breast feed. Coz, drinking bottle milk will be easy than sucking mother's milk.

soak a teaspoon of fenugreek in water, leave it over night, biol that water for 2-3mine strain and drink that.. have carrot juice.. take garlic min of 5-6 cloves.. you can boil garlic in milk, smash and have it or fry it with little oil put salt and pepper and have wit rice.. spinach is also good. raw papaya.. drink atleast 2 glass of milk per day.. eating white shark fish increases supply.. any fish is also fine.. sleep well.. don't stress.. feed often.. visit lactation consultant

Amita, please read the post on my page about breastfeeding.. also, feed the baby as frequently as you can, as this will stimulate the milk flow...spend two days in bed with the baby, with as much suckling as possible... also drumstick leaves and drumsticks are excellent, so are green leafy vegetables. fenugreek also increases milk supply... you can soak it overnight, then pressure cook it with jaggery and add some coconut for taste...
