hi momies,, want your view on baby diaper.. is it safe to use diapers for newborn baby in hospital? or what else we can use.

Dr. Namita Shenai Vadhavkar

In the hospital it is advisable to use diapers as they need a count of pee and poop. Otherwise after discharge at home at least for a month try cloth . Mine got a bit hectic as I would swaddle my baby with a cloth langot and the swaddling cloth got wet every 30 mins. Then at 2 months shifted to diapers.

the only tine i used diaper in hospital was when taking baby for tests and immunizations. otherwise we can't understand number of pees and poops which is important...

personally, I kept my lo diaper free as they need a pee n poop count in the hospital, and used diapers for her while taking her out and at night, works fine provided you change diapers frequently and give ur lo free time as well to avoid nappy rash.

Thank u so much everyone..
