hey sharmistha, iron and calcium, will give you, well iron and calcium... nothing else, it is like a fall back plan, so that if mom does not take enough nutritious food, her bones and blood should not suffer... but the majority of your nutrition should come from the food you take... even spinach and milk contain minerals, vitamins proteins etc, which are also required for baby's growth... So do focus on a balanced diet.. take care dear...
the tablets work as supplements to your diet please ensure you have paneer/curd/buttermilk Incase u are not fond of milk...til /sesame seeds are also a good calcium source.. do have oranges or lemon juice with salt sugar thru the day as vitamin C helps in absorption of Iron.
