Congratulations! By when are you planning for a baby?
Congratulations! How many weeks are you?
I have a
2 years old baby
hi rekha, i remember you had asked a question about baby putting hand in mouth, and several moms and experts had adviced that its normal and dont do anything, right... so now, this is a worse problem... anyways, are you still applying this ? if u are, please stop. its probably got a bitter taste and its remaining in baby's mouth... feed baby with a little expressed milk with spoon and then breastfeed.. it may take time, but you have to be patient and persistent.. and please avoid trying to change habits of 3 months old baby... he is just exploring his new world... take care dear...
Putting finger is vry normal, pls stop using any medication for such thing... Hope u understand
u have done a very wrong act by applying the solution to a 3 months baby on finger tips..
Doc is also worst who advised you to do so..
U have done Cruelty to Ur baby,
wash the hands of ur baby a several times after intervals so that bitterness end up..
Give a pinch of Honey /Sugar to Ur Child..
so that bitterness of tongue become less..
Never do such Nonsense things..
Saima Tariq, she is a new mom na... probably elders also must be pressurising about baby putting hand in mouth due to not feeding well... can't blame her... but you said right about doctor, he should have said its normal behaviour... rekha kool don't worry yaar, theek ho jayega... btw, should not give honey and sugar to baby below 1 year, it can cause poisining... its enough to just wash baby's hand and stop using the product...
A pinch of honey or Sugar at a few times doesn't cause any health trouble to baby.
U can give to ur baby Rekha Ji to make her tongue feel Comfortable.
I am Sure 100%.
I have also used it a few times below 1 yr to my babies.
But Don't give more than a pinch.
Phir bhi Aapki Marzi.. 😊
Elders hv the hobby to gave their suggestions/advises..
But a mother should always be active and Cautious about their babie's health..
They should Stand Strong regarding Child's health issue..
B'coz Sufferer is not Adult but Baby.
Who is Wholy Dependent.
I agree.. But new mothers are vulnerable to any advice they get. Don't worry dear.. Done is done . Put it behind u.. N don't Harbour any guilt. No need for bitter solution.. Baby's outgrown many such habits on their own as they get older
it's taking one n another it's not takin... if take it behind it nly ita crying...n it's frm before applying it .
try to express a bit and then offer that breast ... when baby is hungry offer that breast only first...
do read the post about breastfeeding on my page.. it may help..
Dr. Payal M
femit is extremely bitter. i know of children who have puked becoz of it. dont worry..keep offering breastfeed. try wiping tongue with a wet cloth.
he z not taking rite breast..if offer itself crying lik anythng
This is the bitterest thing on this world I feel. Just if you keep bottle open or just smell it...you can feel the bitterness. Even if you wipe, the bitterness won't go. Wash hands properly. Please let baby grow on its own. Keep fingers in mouth is common. Each n every baby will do.
now answer me y he z nt taking right breast milk
rekha, i hav given an answer above.. try that..
May be the taste is still there in his mouth. It takes time to become normal. Boil 1glass water with 1 teaspoon salt. Allow it to completely cool. And dip soft cotton cloth in it... squeeze it and wipe baby's tongue gently.
you just taste that liquid all by urself. you will come to know...y baby don't want to feed anything.
u mean hes not taking feed frm one side? maybe flow on tht side is too fast or too slow. its normal for babies to preferone side. let him drink frm one side fr now. next time offer the right breast first.
