Congratulations! By when are you planning for a baby?
Congratulations! How many weeks are you?
I have a
1 year old baby
shikha Singh have heard about pillows with rai seeds in them. But broadly just follow a good sleep time ritual and have baby sleep on back. She 'll be fine ! 5 Steps To Sleep Training Success
shikha, keep changing baby's head position. hang a musical mobile at different positions on different days...then there is the rai ka pillow, but i never used pillows at all, just made sure baby does not sleep with head in same position..
Hai Shikha.. how is your angel doing? Most of the baby's sleep on one side in which they are comfortable. They don't know to switch positions. So better.. every half an hour..if baby head won't turn other side.. you only gently turn her head. You can use new born pillow... which is hollow in the middle. or a horse-shoe kind of pillow. As Naiyya said... mustard pillow also will be available. But mustard pillow didn't worked well. On the top of it... mustard pillows will be very slippery and it will smell as wel. Pillows you will get online on Firstcry. Best is... turn baby head. Take a old, clean cotton saree and roll it...in such a way that it's hollow in the middle.. that you can use. Always be gentle regarding head.

Rakhi Puri (beautyofmommying)
shikha Singh never given any pillow to my girl...she adapted sides...my mom made rai pillow like she did for us but I didn't give that to my daughter as my pediatric said not required.... it's different baby to baby and a big myth to give pillows to baby for good head shape....I remember attending a workshop in sitaram Bharatiya hospital there about 4 pediatric said the baby keep on turning sides automatically and pillows are not required but as per family tradition and your physiological fulfilment if you want u can give u shape or mustard pillow to your baby.... mother's belief travels to baby and if you believe in not giving any and she'll be OK then she'll b fine but if you are in two thoughts then please give her a pillow....I communicate a lot with my baby and she listens which I see in her growth and motor development.....good luck and happy parenting
