Might be because of infection,
Infection can occur due to an array of causes though lack of adequate hygiene is one of the predominating one. Women having diabetes, pregnancy complications such as high blood pressure, autoimmune disease, etc. are at a higher risk of getting their C-section incision infected. C-section infection is also more frequently seen in obese, emergency lscs, women taking steroids, c-sec using staples, previous c-sec, infection in amniotic sac...Hence,its difficult to rule out why it happened...
You should take good care of the wound..Keep the area clean and dry..Make sure you have taken complete course of antibiotics..Do not wear close fitting garments..wound healing nearly takes 6-8weeks time..so be careful

were u suffering from cough??

The most likely cause is infection . You may need to take additional antibiotics as prescribed by your doctor and also may need additional dressings. But it will eventually heal and is not to be labelled as a serious problem.
