Q:

hello all!! how to sleep with a 6 month old ...on bed or on quilts placed on floor?? because of the fear of baby rolling off the bed .. please share your suggestions and advices

Sheeba Vijesh

you can sleep with the mattress on the floor, thats how i do it. although ruqaiya had once answered a similar query with attachable sideboards for beds available on online shopping portals.

I made a wall with pillows on one side and the other 2 sides was the bed headboard and one side me. this we did till he completed 9months then on between my husband and me or my daughter and me.

Akshika Mehrotra my baby is supar active and she'll be 7 months on 11th...we keep her in middle and put 24*24 cushion towards her legs...both sides are protected by me and husband...we are doing fine...you need to see what works best for you... bunker, side railing or mattress....

u can use bed with strong side walls Wt pillows... nd u can alarm ur baby by explaining if he s moving to edges u may  fall down..  nd trust me..  it works in my case.. don't bother that if she s rolling off..  nd make sure that there will be no sharp edges.. I used to explain my 👶 from birth itself .. babies r super smarts than us..

this is a bed safety railing . but i wud suggest a cot for very actice baby as u can never be too careful .
