Bhumit is having bad loose motions since 2 days

first he was on norfloxacin and metrodinazole combo And sporolac

When these didnt worked doctor switched to ornidazole and ofloxacin suspension followed by ORS solution.

Doctor said a strict no to dairy products including milk.

He is having only little ceralac.. Rejecting other things.. what should I give him now???

How many days he will take to recover ??

Are these dosages fine???

Cerelac has milk as well. If it is infection it will take some time to settle. Rice, apple, banana are stool binders, you can make porridge out of rice and offer, you can steam the apple make puree and give, idly with gingley oil, offer banana.

He is not taking anything then tried with cerelac and luckily he ate cerelac. I bought one with khichdi and veggie combo.
Will go for apple today
Thankyou rebecca di.. and yes it is severe infection which led to this condition. I hope there is nothing to worry about

Avoid cerelac for now.. Make sure you give some mashed banana.. and some well mashed khuchdi.. avoid peas cauliflower everythig.. some potato is okay.
There isnt anythg to worry but ensure hydration. Give water. Give ORS.

Dr Rishi Sanghvi please help

It happens, if you are breastfeeding continue with that, don't worry if he doesn't eat. Once his tummy settles he will start eating.

@ malvika gupta- u can continue dairy products along with a probiotic & ORS. Do a stool routine & consult your doctor
