Same question even I m facing this issue it started after 3 months of delivery
Eating right and eating nutritious food is the key to managing both hair and skin...I can say from personal experience!
Hi Amrita. I agree with Rhituparna. Sometimes the basics are really the most important like washing your hair twice a week with a suitable shampoo and conditioner (that suits your hair). Once a week oil application. Also timely treatment of dandruff etc. Diet is of course really important as well.
Hair fall post pregnancy is pretty common. It occurs due to Hormonal Changes in your body.
This said you should rule out medical causes though.
What you can do
1.Check for iron levels, thyroid, Vit D and B 12 levels.
2.Start Homeopathy it helps curb hair fall.
3.use Organic shampoo and Homeopathic oil regularly with internal homeopathic medicines
4.Start with Follihair tablets.
5.Don't use any harsh products and colours.
6.Refrain from ironing or treatments.
7.Don't blow dry.
8.Don't comb when hair is wet
9.Take good care of nutrition. Up ur protein intake.
Have plenty of veggies n fruits
Increase your fluid intake.
10.Stress less n sleep well.Yes when I say sleep well I know with a baby it's difficult but find ways to do that. sleep when the baby sleeps. get help to manage the baby etc but do catch up on Sleep.

thank u Doctor! I do have thyroid problem and continuing my medication. It is within the normal range now. But I also blow dry my hair. guess I have to skip that.
And I have to apologise to everyone who helped me for I had been unable to reply as I had no internet connection.

Mix castor oil and coconut oil and massage your hair before washing it. Apply it and leave whole night u ll get better results
