Q:

from past a month my baby's weight is constant.. 5.7 kg.. she is going to be 6 month old in a week.. d pee count is good. 10-12 to day... she s active.. sleeps a lil less.. should i be worried dat she is nt putting on at all?? she is breastfed baby

Rakhi Puri (beautyofmommying)

she is taking foremilk instead hind milk I think as pee count is heavy as per weight gain Raveena vardhan...feed her from one breast 40 min and offer other one if she wants more...hindmilk is important for weight gain

Raveena Vardhan

she takes the whole stuff.. i can produce only upto 10min
. n she s full with dat.. when.she wants more i need to switch her to other breast as d one she feeds on is empty

What was her birth weight? If she has doubled her birth weight by 6 months, pees more than 8 times a day and is active, then you need not worry. Once you start semi solids you may find her gaining more weight.

she wS 2.9..almost there

Then need not worry. Start with semi solids once she starts 6 months. A Beginner’s Guide to Weaning foods check a few recipes here.
