Dr.Shilpitha Shanthappa Dr. Payal M pls advise

Dr. Shilpitha Shanthappa

You cannot take any hormonal tablets to postpone your periods if you are breastfeeding your child (as these can pass on to the child via breastmilk and cause problems) and should be used only if benefits outweigh the risks (only if clearly necessary). There are specific (only progesterone ones) hormonal pills available to aid you during breastfeeding time. If you want to postpone your periods, you should consider visiting your gynecologist for further assistance(and prescription for the right pill to be used)..

agree with dr.shilpitha
try moving the visit date instead
these pills may just end up upsetting ur cycles

Priya Sood

Hi dear! Please avoid any such pills. I know its a matter of faith and I respect that. Do reschedule. I do have a doubt though. God gave us this monthly routine due to which we (woman) are able to give birth, the most miraculous and natural event. Then why do we have restrictions on going to the temple during our periods? is there a scientific reason for that?

Sangeetha Karuna

Hey Priya Sood, i agree with you. It's a natural event. Problem is that, during periods our body will not be in our control. Weaken by our body.  Temples, church, mosque are built to increase our positivity. As we feel week, we wont be in a situation to enjoy its benefit. But now a days, many people see us like an alien if we are in periods. 😈

Sindhu Gandhimathi

I agree with u both Sangeetha and Priya. After those 3 or 5 days do we get sanctitized.??.
