Congrats! God bless baby.
Dr.Shilpitha Shanthappa can you help?

Dr. Shilpitha Shanthappa

hello...
firstly CONGRATULATIONS MOMMA...
wash the area and wipe it clean whenever you feel it moisty.  Use a clean cotton dry towel for this each time..  Take extreme care while sitting and getting up from a chair. As any force exerted could send out stinging pain in the vaginal area which could make it worse. Always lower your knees first before you try to sit and then rest your bottoms, while getting up do it in a slow motion manner. If sitting for too long makes you uncomfortable, use a cushion to counter the soreness.. Urinating amidst an episiotomy wound could be painful. To reduce the pain and discomfort keep pouring warm water on your vulva while urinating.. Cold packs have always been a good way to deal with surgical wounds, especially in the private areas... Pressure during a bowel movement could make the wound become more painful. Watch your diet carefully and include a lot of fibre to avoid a bout of constipation. Alternatively, use a clean cloth and press on your wound while bearing down a bowel movement..

thxx dr. bt mere stitches me rujav ajaye asi koi medicine ya tube hai abhi one week huva delivery ko ..mujse ab tolerant nhi hota ..8 stitches hai andar aur bahar k milakar..

Dr. Shilpitha Shanthappa

Parmar meera-  it will be best if you contact your doctor... because usually it heals without burning or pain... if not it might be infected too.. so better to consult your doctor

If it has been just a couple of days feeling discomfort is fairly normal. However there are things that you can do to get relief. Please do read my article on post partum vaginal recovery. Most important is to maintain hygeine and clean the stitches every time you use the washroom
