Karishma we hope you have discussed this at length with your doctor ?

Hello...
Intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR) is commonly defined as an estimated fetal weight of less than the 10th percentile.. as you have already in 36th week, there is no fear of preterm births or other complications... baby will be doing well... after birth take extra care for somedays...

hi karishma, actually your baby is not much far behind, only ac(abdominal circumference) is less... its fine, baby might be a bit lean, thats all... my baby was suspected iugr, and he was way behind on the weight chart... but he is doing well now.... dont worry dear...

Dr Charmi Thakker Deshmukh

as the estimated weight is 2.4 kg with adequate liquor should not be a major issue. you should do a color Doppler to make sure that the blood supply to the baby is adequate. the wt of the baby also depends on your frame. also your doc will give you some protein and amino acid supplementation to help increase the baby wt
