Nazeema Shaheen

no problem sheeba u can give Amul, cheese n butter r rich in calcium .even I use to feed my baby

asha chaudhry

hello from the land of amul :) i m from anand sheeba :) yes u can give both. i wud suggest pls try butter (i wud saute boiled potatoes in butter and if baby likes mash potato - butter and milk makes it yum!) after a week or two introduce cheese slices - they like to play wth it also! i used to also make ghar ka paneer which she wud love! happy utterly butterly delicious! pls share pic of baby n cheese for me! hugs :) ps i was just at the amul shop 10 mins ago - we live on amul dairy rd :)

Sheeba Vijesh

thank you Nazeema Shaheen 😊 asha chaudhry will try potatoes that way... and will load a pic just for you 💕😊

Hi Sheeba Vijesh! I wouldn't suggest you use processed cheese so early. You could look  for cheddar or Parmesan otherwise cottage cheese is a better alternative as most cheese contain preservatives that may not be good for babies that young.

Sheeba Vijesh

thank you Gayatri Rao, i too was worried about that.. but these types are not easily available here... let me check anyways once again 😊

Harpreet Kaur

you can make cheese n butter at home Sheeba Vijesh.

asha chaudhry

i wont suggest that as salt is too high for a baby in it. their daily requirement is 0.2 mg. which comes from other things u give. no need to overload their tiny kidney. instead u cN make cortage cheese at home and make parantha or bhurji and give

Sheeba Vijesh

thank you Harpreet Sidhu Asha Chaudhary Harneet Khurana for your valuable suggestions, will make at home only... i have made butter, though i know how to make cottage cheese, i have not actually tried it yet... does it stay fresh for a couple of days?

Harneet (clanpedia)

anything that u make gives the most nutition when its fresh. so may be u can keep it for 2 days but dont prefe the same

Sonali Shivlani

No butter and cheese are best avoided till one year of age. Salt content is high and cheese can even cause constipation
