My baby is having cough n cold now a days ...n he has completed 4 months on 1feb ..
He sleeps less according to me ..
In morning at 7-30 he wakes up n does poop n continue his regime but as it 9-30 or 10
He is sleepy n takes breastfeed n sleep on my lap itself ...
If I make him to sleep down slowly n gradually he wakes up ...
Sometimes if he sleeps also
Even my small footsteps too disturbs him ...
How can I solve this problem..
N in afternoon he sleeps for a an hour or two ..but that too not complete sleep...
If he is tired he sleeps in evening at 6-7 otherwise gets cranky n sleeps at 10-30 ....
At night he wakes up every 2 hour for bf n formula milk too....
My main problem is he sleeps on lap n doesn't sleep in cradle or bed in morning n afternoon...
But at night he sleeps on bed...
I have tried to create atmosphere of low dim light n all windows n doors closed....but still not successful.....
Pls help

I can understand; your problem Mahi..as the baby has cold, may be it is difficult to breathe and so the baby doesn't want to leave you and lie alone. You can use saline drops with doctor's recommendation. Also a humidifier helps. Keeping the babies head elevated in the bed by supporting the baby pillow with a folded towel or extra thin pillow helps. Also you can put one of your frequently worn dupattas near the baby so that it feels secure that you are near. Another trick is to take a hanky and apply Vicks or eucalyptus oil in it and keep near the baby. It will make it easy to breathe and give comfort. Also try and breastfeed as much as you can.

You can also use easy breathe capsule
Just cut it and apply on Ur baby's dress around coller... It will ease baby to breathe..
And even my baby was not sleeping down but just try to cuddle baby in Ur arms till baby is in sound sleep then very slowly lay them down in cradle... This trick worked very well for me...
N don't worry with time baby will be able to sleep down on their own...
Mine has started sleeping down by her own now...

Dear Mahi Gajwani , two things ur baby is doing really well is his wake up time is 7.30 this time is a good wake up time I will suggest u to put baby to sleep at night earlier ard 7.30 to 8 this will solve the tired baby issue. Also the early rising babies want early bedtime as this makes them.sleep long stretches at night. During the day as baby has.become older u can let him nap in.his bed but do not dim lights for naps u will end up with a baby who sleep more during day and less during night. We dont want that. Jus keep the lights on amd the bed he sleep at night cud also be where he takes his naps.
