Q:

Travelling with 21days infant via flight ...Is it safe ? Any real experience anyone? It's 2 hr journey.

Rebecca Prakash

Of course it's safe and that's why airlines allow this. The tip I got from baby chakra is its better to feed the baby while taking off and landing so that baby's mouth will be in motion and he/she will not have ear block or pain. My neice travelled when she was 35 days old and she was well fed so she did not wake up all through her journey of 3 hrs. What all to carry Nancy should be able to help.

; Yes it's safe... Take assistance from airlines so you don't have to wait with your baby in long queues.. also feed Ur baby while taking off and landing.. cheçk with your as some doctors suggest ear drops for kids.. keep diapers extra clothes wipes and other stuff which you need handy... Normally you get help within flight from the staff as well

Dr. Neha D. Khodke

Absolutely safe. Just feed the baby during take off and landing. This ensures that the ears pop and the baby does not get any ear ache. Apart from that, usual care like extra diapers and toilet essentials. Mostly babies sleep during flights so you should be fine

Ensure you feed baby while take off and landing

Heya ,
I travelled with a 40 day old ..
It's absolutely; safe... She was sleeping most of the time ..
Make sure to carry a dia0er bag with extra air of cloths, diaper, sanitiser , if baby is breastfed then you may feed emif combined or formula then sterilized bottles , milk powder , hot water, extra pair of nspkins , a small blanket or sleeping bag for the bub ..
The babies are smarter then us they adjust ...;; make sure to get a ticket for the bub and while check in let them know that you will need help ..
When I travelled alone with Kiwi I asked them for maas; category ( medical attention) so a ground staff and a porter helped me with the luggage
Take care
