Hey Preeti... Don't feel depressed.. normal or C-section both have their pros or cons..it's jus a matter for few days... Take proper rest and eat well and soon you will be fine..don't feel sad .. cheer up seeing your baby...

Preeti, sweetheart, relax! You are a mother now and you can do everything. The more you would help yourself getting up and stroll around the house, the sooner you will recover. See,initially just feed your baby and he will be taken care of,all other stuff can be handled by elderly people in the house! If you have a waterproof bandage on stitches, you can bath too! Thats what my gynae suggested.i bathe the 3rd day,and all was fine. Font be depressed, many of us have gone through it. This too shall pass!! You will sail through it too!

Dear Preeti,
I hear you. Delivery can be unpleasant especially the recovery part as it comes with its restrictions especially if its a c-section. Please remember the calmer you are the faster you will recover and be able to be there a 100% for your little one. Try taking it one day at a time. It takes approximately 6 weeks for the body to recover so try thinking if this time as a preparation for what’s to follow like the nappy changes, sleepless nights accompanied with heart melting moments with your baby. Try focusing on your recovery so you can get back in action and be a healthy and positive Mommy to that little life. It takes a while for the routine to set so don’t lose heart. Join groups of new mommies and interact with them. This support is sure to pep you up.

We are strong aren't we? We went through knife like a boss... Laid on the operation bed thinking what's next.. We felt numb couldn't feel anything but we saw everything.. It's like we went through fire but we survived. We will feed the baby with those stitches, bend and change the diaper with those back pain.. We are strong and we will survive. You are one such strong mom Preeti nothing to be depressed but to be proud off. Hugs and we will get through this.

It gets better dear .. give it sometime. I was pathetic after my C but looking at my son gave me strength to get past my pain and be there for him. Eventually it all settled.
