Don't worry.; This is normal feeling breathless. Since the baby has less space to move.; Keep hydrated.; Dont start yourself.; Be careful with movements. We will wait for our docs to answer but generally if your scans are fine, nothing to worry dear.;

HI Neeti, what was your last scan like as regards weight of the baby, umbilical cord position, placenta position and amount of amniotic fluid? All these factors figure in when we talk about engagement of the baby's head in pelvis. If you send a snapshot of your last report, will be able to comment better on the reason for this. Till then, I would advise you to relax and not stress too much about this. This will tense up your abdominal and uterine muscles and hamper movements of the baby as well. Remember, whatever the mode of delivery is decided at the time of labour pains.

Hi Neeti, Report looks good. Weight, head circumference, amniotic fluid levels are good. Nothing mentioned about umbilical cord so I am assuming that all is good. Lie is cephalic which is good. Means that baby is head down. So better to wait for a week. The baby's head engages sometimes even just before labour. Placenta is also in upper segment so should not interfere with head engagement. Wait and watch. Do not do any heavy exercises, do not do any exercise or activity that you have never done before. People may suggest you to start sweeping the floor or do bending exercises, but if you have not done any of these before, no point doing them now. You will do more harm than good. All the best!
