Hey it means that that placenta is planted in the lower part , closer to the cervix..it may gradually move upwards in many cases but I had low lying placenta throughout till I gave birth ..so I was not bed rest and dint do much movement ..
Nothing much to worry , avoid heavy tasks , n jerks; n travels , take proper rest ..all will be fine ..take care ..
Plz do as your doc suggest in such case doc ask for complete bad rest, don't sit on floor, aviid stairs as much as possible or if you can plz don't use stairs, this happen in my case also you have to be careful placenta will move upwards hopefully, in my case it did but you need to be carefull
Hey dear..do not worry. Even I had same problem when I did u/s in 13th week. Doctor advised me complete bed rest. Eat healthy, take complete rest and avoid stairs, travelling. The plancenta will definitely move upwards. In my case too, it has moved up. So plz take complete rest for atleast a couple of weeks.
