Hey if the placenta is low lying then follow the instructions given by the doctor ..avoid heavy tasks and bed rest is a must ..however in a sitting position you can move the ankle up n down...the blood circulation will be better ...tc ..

Dr. Shilpitha Shanthappa

Yes do's and dont's play important role in low lying placenta..
Firstly, stop over physical exertion.. avoid sitting or standing for long hours.. a foot end elevation with rest is necessary for few days until the placenta move upwards.. as the pregnancy progress the placenta usually move upwards.. so till then try to rest yourself.. avoid the physical exertions.. keep an eye on fetal movements..
