As you are saying fever then better to check with his paed about this spitting. My daughter too spits at times but when she is too full/over fed or if I don't keep her upright position. Curdled milk is okay.

Hi priti..
I think he is also down with fever.. so he is spitting up.. dont panic.. just go and meet pedea and also check yourself with a physician.. dont delay much..

Neha Mani Mishra

He is spitting because he has fever..babies lose appetite..take him to his paediatrician

Priti Sweetheart, usually 1 month oldies spits a lot of milk. But this sounds like reflux to me, keep burping, give some tummy time, try elevating her head,so take her in a position where her head is kept slightly high during feed.💞
I remember Rehu spitting buckets of my milk and i used to visit paed almost every week for spitting and vomiting and what not! And to all this he said,if your kid is taking feed properly,is able to sleep nice and sound, dont worry. Baby is normal, just try elevating babies head. 💞
And do whatever you can, heeng on navel like a ritual, tummy massage in in clockwise direction, warm bath. Just see to it that you are not doing all this immediately after feed ( my malishwali aunty's time was erratic) so she used to come and straight away do malish and bathe rehu which was one culprit of her too much spitting. And because i was visiting paed so often he prescribed domstal syrup which i never gave.
So just rule out a few things like doci suggested fever and this might sound lame but when i was taking antibiotics,i think it was to some extent altering the taste of feed ( still not sure, just my hunch tells me this ) so she was not taking feed.
Because she needs to be kept hydrated, feed her often,if still she doesnt take feed please do visit a paed. Also, just keep a check on pee count. One more thing, while am writing, one more thing popped up..have you checked to see that your flow isnt too fast? Try expressing some milk and then feed. Hope he starts feeding like a pro soon..💞

Hey my bad,i wrote everything keeping Rehu in mine so used SHE everywhere, please dont mind, read it as HE.

Revauthi Rajamani

Agree with ritu
Also sometime antibiotics that you consume will affect the taste of milk, but eventually what matters is if the baby feeds well ,sleeps well no issues

Thank u al so much for such a detailed answr..i showd him to doc he has been prescribed domstal n crocin.. Last night he hasnt vomitted.. So keeping my fingers crossed...
