Hi ,One of my friends told me that giving formula to small babies is not recommendable as it doesn't make their immunity strong and will have health problems later on, is this true? Please suggest as I am bit worried now as i have rejoined my office after maternity leave and i give formula to my younger one.

Hi mom, I can understand your confusion. If you can't able to feed your baby with breast milk then you can opt to formula milk with doctors recommendation. My sister in law is giving Aptamil Gold formula milk stage 2 for her 6 months baby. It is best substitute for mothers milk. It helps in digestion and boosts immunity in kids. The prebiotics and HMOs present in it helps digestion and boosts immunity and growth. It contains balanced, age-appropriate nutrients to support the overall growth and development of the baby.

Hey dear, even i had same thought when i wanted to switch on formula milk due to low breast milk, but my pediatrician suggested me Aptamil Gold, it provides enough nutrients for overall growth development and imprvoes gut health and helps strengthen immunity as well.

Hi
I understand your concern..But it's definitely not true that If a baby is fed with formula, their immunity is compromised. My sister's kid is a formula fed baby. She is active, achieving milestones as per the recommendation. Do look for a formula that is closest to breast milk composition and provides enough nutrients for their growth, my sister's baby is on the Aptamil Gold formula. This is perfectly keeping the baby healthy and fine
