Sahakar Nagar

Freskka has always given us the feeling of a nice eatery with warmth and mouth-watering continental cuisines. Their menu is one that completely excludes Indian dishes. So no spicy stuff to choose from for the children. Yes, you can perhaps say this is the one-stop destination if you want to try pure Mexican or Italian food. Bangalore has two branches. To us, the one at Sahakarnagar is the closest one. Finding a car park near Freskka is a breeze. We are frequent visitors.

The ambiance is somehow a good blend of soothing and funky. They used to have an aquarium; it's no more. Other than that, what's kid-friendly about this place is the presence of a gaming console. My son isn't at a height where he can wave his hands to start playing; this always calls for a parent to help him out, thus a good bonding time while having fun. If we are too busy gorging, a staff member is always at hand to help cheerfully. If you choose the area right beside the entrance, one can sleep on the comfortable seating stuffed with the many cushions.

The food is just awesome. My son always has to have one of their many flavoured iced teas. Believe me, they are exquisite. He also has a fixed choice of main course. It's either the cheese balls, french fries, potato smileys or nachos. The hub & I don't know how they are able to keep a whole lasagna hot till the very last bite. We also fancy their chicken steak, pastas, fish n chips & salads. Their choice of desserts is absolutely well-thought of. It's either the cheese cake or the creme brulee for us.

Everything in the menu is so close to being in the perfect authenticity of taste, quality and presentation. The only downside to this place -- though they have a breakfast menu, they don't open on time during mornings. On the whole, Freskka offers a mesmerising experience and very easy on the pockets too.
