Reading Tree there is no publicity of this place but trust me when I tell you that its a quaint, fun and a great place to spend time with your child.
In the compound of Purna building there is a small library which is the Reading Tree, childrens book library. For a meagre of Rs 1600 a year members can come read to their children, borrow books, do puzzles, look at the wide collection of huge charts covering various topics is this little library. Mothers can come in anytime between 11.00 a.m. – 7.00 p.m. and read and play with their little ones.
The collection comprises of the Ladybird series, Panchtantra series, Barney, Dora, Hello Readers, Topsy & Time, Berenstein Bears, a lot of international authors, Enid Blyton, Famous Five, Reference Books for projects, autobiographies, books on phonics, great men, comics, Eyewitness guides series, Classic comprehensive stories like David Copperfield, Robinson Crusoe, multilingual books and many others.
They also have a collection for preschoolers. They have a lot of interactive peg puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, Franks & Creatives puzzles on concepts for preschoolers. Girls can enjoy playing with the Doll house while the boys can indulge in a lot of machines & automobiles.
Mothers can easily spend about 2 hours with their little ones. The decor is simple with a low center table and little stools painted with animal motifs.
