3 days pass by, we were clueless on what needs to be done next, even though everytime the fever of my daughter was down by giving crocin , she used to jump and run and be playful which she usually does but jumping and running is less as compared to other activities, when is completely well. So on the 4th morning we decided to visit her Ped doc, eve though we felt it is going to be a normal visit, he wil say continue with same meds and viral takes time to go. We met him Dr gogia, in his clinic , and he said that the Baby is facing a whizzing problem cause of which he is making an effort to increase oxygen by jumping, running after the fever goes down, usually normal rate for oxygen varies flow varies from is 92 to 100 but with my lo it was 84 when she met the doc. He immediately admitted her in Max Hospital, and keep her in observation and also started meds, X ray and Blood tests procedures. In this whole process, we learnt that if the child whizzing rate is less than he suggestive one, when baby is active and awake, then he needs to be immediately treated. The 1st indication as a layman parent we get if the fever is not going down in the 1st 3 days of infection, rather it is at the same temperature level or increasing, then we need to immediately consultant a doc and not further delay. Normal Viral infection or normal chest congestion, fever is likely to fluctutate and by 3rd day end likely to completely go.
I am happy now my daughter is fine.
Hats off to you Dr Gogia for your eye for detail and timely treatment.
