One of strolls in the Lokhandwala Market brought me to this place. I was one of the first customers of Leo's Boulangerie, so when I went there for the first time, I got a royal treatment. The manager gave me one thing after the other to taste, sadly it doesn’t happen now. But this sampling was enough to make me a loyal customer of theirs.
This place belongs to Farzad Jehani of Leopold Café and if desserts at Leopold are your favourite like mine, this place is a must go for you. During one of the interactions with the manager, he told me Leopold café and Leo’s Boulangarie have the same factory at Mazagaon. But since this place is in Suburbs, there is a huge difference in the rates. Leopold Café being more expensive. This is major thumbs up for me since I save money on travelling and otherwise as well.
Talking about the cakes, they are fresh and nice. Their Blueberry Cheesecake is just outstanding. The Red Velvet and Black Forest pastries were good as well. I have never tried savouries, so don’t know much about them. My child loves their mousse cake. My favourite is Ambrosia. He never takes anything else. I liked it so much that I ordered my child’s first birthday cake from them and they did a nice job, with Disney cars on it.
The staff is also courteous and helpful.
Leo’s is a cute little place, with beautiful interiors. For sitting they have three stools and a bench. The stools have a chain and bicycle pedals, which my child loves a lot. But due to space constraints it is more of a take away place.
Whenever I go to Lokhandwala, I make a trip to this place and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend it.
