Theobroma serves a wide range of sweet and savoury patisserie, sandwiches, desserts and an exclusive range of premium chocolates. Every product of Theobroma oozes quality in every possible manner. For example their Brownies are just to die for, with a crunchy outer layer and soft gooey from inside. Pineapple Pastry, God knows what they do to make them so delicious. Rainbow pastry is the best looking pastry of the lot and one can’t help ordering it. The increasing number of their branches is ample proof of their ever growing popularity. Theobroma is pretty consistent, maintains a good quality, great ingredients and absolute value for money.
My child’s favourite is chocolate cupcake which comes with a swirl of cream and some sprinkles. Theobroma is the only place in the city where my child finishes his food without any fuss and without talking. Hence I can drink my cup of coffee/tea without any troubles. Many of my Delhi friends ask for stuff from Theobroma, whenever I visit them.
They also have wonderful savouries but my child only sees chocolate when he enters Theobroma. One handy tip with children here is that some of their pastries have liquor, so it is best to ask the server before ordering it. They do theme cakes/special cakes for occasions.
On the flip side, the restaurant is very busy and the space is too minimal. All the tables and chairs have been squished in. So the environment is very noisy and crowded, many babies don’t like it. Also the washroom isn’t as clean and hygienic as I would like it to be. They don’t have any high chair for the babies. So it loses some points on Ambience parameter.
Overall, Theobroma is a heavenly place for quick bites and desserts. One can’t spend too much time here because of space constraints. If you are one of the people, who can stretch limits for good food, Theobroma is the place. Visit it whenever you have sweet craving.
