As the name suggests Sattvam is a restaurant that serves only sattvic food. i.e. vegertarian food without any onions or garlic. Being a foodie when I first heard about this place I thought what good would any food be without onions or garlic in them. Sattvam proved me wrong. They have one of the largest buffets spreads I have seen comprising around 75 different items . From soups to starters to chats, Indian curries & breads, Italian, Chinese, Burmese. They have it all. I have been here couple of times and all the dishes I tasted have been delicious. I especially love their dessert section. They have about 20 different varieties of desserts which include all types of Indian mithai, cakes, pasteries, cheesecakes, ice creams. They also have a chocolate fountain. Kids would love it here. It is one of the few child friendly restaurants in the city. They have a dedicated buffet counter for kids which are also kept at a lower height so that a child can easily access it. The kids buffet generally has dishes like creamy pasta, mayonnaise sandwich, noodles, etc. Sattvam is a good restaurant to spend an afternoon bonding with family and friends over gorgeous food. Keep in mind to go on a relatively empty stomach to enjoy the buffet up to the hilt.
