Hi moms, I just wanted to share a happy moments that I faced yesterday. My daughter is almost 22 months old. She will be very active. She plays with all things in park on her own. But Till date I was making her to sit directly on the sliding by holding. But yesterday she started to climb on steps of slide with no support and sliding very happily. I was just back of her if she misses a step, but not at all missed. She was very happy and joyful by sliding on her own in this cool evening. Almost she slides for many times. These days she is saying "hi " wishing everyone who ever comes across and asks how are you? and then bye. Today's kids are very confident of what all they do. Kids should be given playtime in the evenings in grounds or parks. They enjoy a lot. They can mingle with everyone. Their mind will become fresh. It will be like a fun with exercise for them. To keep them far away from electronic gadgets we as parents should engage them in all other fun and play activities.

HEALTH TIPS #newbie#momathon3#itsback#contestalert#mom#momandchild#contestentrymy#healthcare#healthbenefits#healthtips#healthiswealth#momandbaby#healthandtaste Dear mom's during or after pregnancy many people may face many problems. Among them main problem is that constipation. Constipation is reduction in bowel movements or difficulty in passing stools. Constipation mainly occurs due to a variety of medical conditions, diet and lifestyle. One needs to change their diet and lifestyle to overcome constipation. When constipation becomes severe it becomes piles. Piles have many reasons. Among them constipation is also one case.
Here I wanted to share some tips so that no one will get constipation. Prevention is better than cure. If you take all these fibre rich items then you will be free from constipation. Fibre rich foods: Drink plenty of water 6-8 glasses
Have all the coloured vegetables.
Take Fibre rich foods like spinach, carrot, sweetcorn, sweet potato, brocolli.
Add Pulses like beans, lentils and chick peas.
Fruits like apple, pomogranate, pear, prunes(dried plum), banana, kiwi and citrus fruits.
Anjeer is also a best source of fibre.
Nuts like almonds and pista
Adults should take atleast 30grams of fibre per day.
First thing in the morning take atleast 1 litre of warm water. Avoidable list Stop taking junk foods.
These days I saw many people using this homemade cerelacs which will be prepared by them in their own homes with different combinations with different grains added to them. But even some people are using packed cerelac. I think homemade Cerelac will be most better than packed foods with no preservatives. And everything will be fresh. And most importantly the satisfaction we get if we do this home made uggu multigrain food and feed our baby will never be equal to any other food. It very easy to prepare and cook. The ingredients used for the preparation of UGGU for homemade Cerelac are Rice 1 cup
Urad dal 1 cup
Toor dal 1 cup
Green gram 1 cup
Ragi/ finger millet 1 cup
chana dal 1 cup
Jowar 1 cup
wheat 1 cup
Badam 1/2 cup
cashew nuts 1/2 cup
Jeera 2 tablespoons
Ajwain/vamu 2 tablespoons Procedure:
Firstly wash Rice, urad dal, toor dal, chana dal, Jowar, wheat with water. Drain them and put them on a cotton cloth so that water will be absorbed. Now dry them in shade. Then dry roast them in a pan and cool them by keeping aside. On the other hand wash finger millet/ragi and green gram and then soak them separately in water in the morning. Then night remove all the water and tightly pack them in a cotton cloth. By next day morning you can see sprouts formed. Now dry them in shade. After dried you can dry roast them in a pan till golden brown colour. Also dry roast Jeera, Ajwain, badam, cashew nuts. Cool them all for some time by keeping them aside. All the dry roasted ingredients should blended in a mixer. It should be blended to a smooth powder for 7th month baby and as age increases blend to rough mixture. Now store the powder in a airtight container. Cooking procedure: Take 2 tablespoons of powder in a pan and pour one glass of water in to it and stir it well so that no lumps are formed. Switch on the flame and be stirring continuously until mixture forms to a thick consistency as semi solid. Add a pinch of salt. Cook on a low flame as it should be cooked properly. Then cool it and feed to your baby until she nods her head.
Definitely baby's like this homemade UGGU-cerelac with multigrains. Ajwain and Jeera helps in digesting this food. You can skip any grain if you don't wish to use.
My baby was eating this uggu with interest. She liked this very much. It will be as a wholesome lunch so that baby's have a good sleep with stomach full of yummy yummy food.
Pregnancy will be one of the most memorable days for ever mom. During these 9 months their thoughts and experiences everything will be concerned to their coming little baby who is going to see this wonderful world with different creatures. So to make baby in the womb healthy, mom's should have healthy food.
Here I'm sharing some of my experiences and things that I have seen or taken.
As soon as I have come to know that I have conceived my food schedule was changed.
I started eating only homemade foods.
Dialy two times milk. Take diary products like milk, curd, and cheese. It is good for baby bones rich in calcium.
Having a boiled egg dialy.
Having breakfast early like dosa, idli, chapathi, roti, Pongal, vada, veg upma etc.
Fresh homemade fruit juice at 10 - 11am. and a fruit.
Then in lunch you can have rice dal rasam curd and vegetables, bisibelbath, biryani
Two times a week non veg.
Then around 3 o clock take coconut water and some fruits.
Evening snacks as fruits, any salads, groundnut laddoos, boiled chick peas, urad dal laddoos, sprouts, and some other items which ever are delicious and homemade and with nutrient values. Better try to eat what all you like and prefer to eat. After delivery you cannot have all because you should be concerned for baby as you will breastfeed baby.
Night time as usual like lunch but take it early. Don't be so late. By the time you go to bed there must be time gap of atleast two hours. Try to take all coloured vegetables in your diet dialy as they are rich in fibre.
Your dialy diet should include proteins food like cheese, egg, paneer, nuts, fish, meat, beans, lentils etc.
You should also take whole grains like chapathi, multigrain chapathi, ragi millets. You can plan accordingly. Avoidable things
Don't skip or fast meals during your pregnancy.
Don't take junk foods or spicy foods.
Dont take foods from outside. Have a good food and best sleep.
