She has done her M.B.B.S with honours - 1977, Agra Medical College, M.S. in Obs. & Gynae – 1981, Agra Medical College & Fellow of Indian College of Maternal & Child Health. She has been awarded with Best paper in 3rd National Conference of Indian Academy of Human Reproduction in Feb 1995, Certificate of Appreciation from Lioness district 321-A2 in 1998 - 1999, Certificate of Appreciation in 19th Annual Conference of AOGD1997, Certificate of Appreciation in Jt.20th Conference of AOGD & the Annual Conference of NAVSFWI in 1998, Certificate of Appreciation in live workshop and clinical meeting on Focus on Fibroids 2002 & Dr. Sheila Mehra Endoscopy Award for best conference presentation on endoscopy in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at 24th AICC RCOG Conference on 2nd March 2009 at New Delhi.
