The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle: Book Review

There are somebooks that appear nondescript at the first glance. But when you dig a bit further, these books reach out to our glee center, ruffle out some imagination and take us to a world where adults and children alikewant to visit again and again. Eric Carle’s evergreen classic for toddlers, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, is one of those. 

The story begins with a caterpillar hatching out of an egg and turns out, he has a voracious appetite. So he goes on to eating an array of foods ranging from fruits to lollipops and muffins! What happens to the caterpillar next?

The little holes in the book make the whole story reading experience interactive, as your toddler will have fun poking her little fingers through.
