Arrange a doll, a diaper, a powder puff and some baby clothes in a row. Everyone takes turns in dressing up the ‘baby’. The one who takes the least time to complete the change-a-thon wins.

Hungry for baby food

This is a fun game to play if your guest list is small and has couples. Make few jars of baby food. These could be pureed banana, blended boiled peas or mashed carrots. Now blindfold the couple and ask the wife to feed the husband a spoon of the food. The husband then guesses what it is made of. It sounds easy but it’s really tough when you’re blindfolded.

Name suggest

Take out few printouts of mom-to-be’s and dad-to-be’s close-up photographs (preferably only the face). Now cut them into strips so that a single feature appears on one strip (For example, eyes on one strip, nose on another). Ask everyone to make a face using a mix of both the mum’s and dad’s features to predict how baby will look like. It will be fun to see what each guest comes up with.

Super mom at work

This men-only baby shower game idea will have the entire party in splits! Arrange for really big-sized stilettoes, a bucket full of baby clothes (or even napkins or towels), a clothesline and a mobile phone. Ask the men to take turns to slip into the stilettoes, walk to the bucket, pick a piece of clothing and walk back to hang it on the clothesline. The entire exercise must be done while pretending to talk on the phone. The player who succeeds in this super mommy task the fastest, wins.

What’s the cost

Put up a few baby products (powder, soap, socks etc.) on display and ask the guests to guess the price of each item. The guess closest to the actual prize wins.
