A professional turned Mother and then a Mom-Entrepreneur, Anisha has been there, done that and has done everything amazingly. Here she shares her story of starting her own MomINC. with BabyChakra. 1. My Mom Quotient :

I am an extremely calm and a loving mother who can clearly identify the strengths and opportunities of my child. I choose to provide freedom and space to my children to ensure they can explore the world around themselves.I am a risk taking mom and I encourage my kids to take risks and learn from them. I am a firm believer of trusting my children’s capabilities and inspire them to be their best at everything they do.

I believe in providing logical reasoning to every expectation that I have from them. I have learnt that more than often it is us, who deviate from what we preach and it is okay to accept your mistakes as a parent and provide your child a world with no fear and only trust and love around them. I know my child is not perfect and I adore what he is good at without any comparisons.

2. My Mom Inc. Story:

I would have been the last person on this earth to believe that I could become an entrepreneur and I believe my kids desire to live in the cartoon world, play a crucial role in my decision to become one. With no prior exposure in children books designing or publication and no major investment, my journey began with a possibility and a firm belief of creating a story book with caricatures of my children. Thanks to Social media, I continued to find leads of people who can partner to make my dream come true. It took almost 3 months to conceptualize and execute what we have now for the FIRST TIME EVER across the globe- PERSONALIZED STORY BOOKS with caricatures on every page. I also recorded these stories and got them processed in a studio for Audio Books.

The desire to do more inspired me to weave the vision for my venture. vPersonalise aiming to ”Make Memories Memorable”. vPersonalise offers Personalized Books (Story books, Audio books recorded in your voice, Memory Books & Nursery Rhyme books with pictures of your child on every page & Coloring Books). We also offer personalized Bags, clothing, Stationary, Gifts, Greetings, and so on…. The website is yet to be launched as the venture is barely a quarter old.

3. Who Inspired/ Supported Me:

Honestly, my family members thought that this was just a momentary craze and I would be back to reality soon. But my positive attitude & self- motivation got me here. Without being modest, I am inspired by my own self. Being a mother to two lovely children while also jiggling between a full-time night shift job, I managed to launch my venture too, I am extremely proud of myself!! All of this is only possible with the support of your family and my husband and my father in law are the pillars of strength. I am lucky to be associated with a team who is dedicated and believed in my goals and vision.

4. Advice/tips:

You definitely need to be focused. Your destiny is to fulfill those things upon which you focus most intently. Be Determined! Stepping onto a brand new path is difficult, but not more difficult than being stagnant. Dream to succeed! Put your dreams into reality by acting on them NOW!! Priorities your work. As a working mother and now an entrepreneur, I have realized that Time management skills can do wonders for you.
