Read Why Sunny Leone Has Chosen An Indian Name For Her Adopted Daughter
Leone and her hubby Daniel Weber announced to the world that the couple adopted a baby girl from the Maharashtrian district of Latur and she is only 21-months old.
The internet was not able to digest the fact that Sunny Leone, who has a sexy, sultry image, could go for adoption. But what you look doesn't really project how you are in your personal life and that's something that holds true for Sunny as well.
Another case in point is the fact that Sunny has chosen a pure, Desi name for her baby girl and also given her reasons for it. The choice of the name suggests that unlike her image Sunny is a traditional girl at heart and very very simple in real life.
Sunny has named her baby girl Nisha Kaur Weber and she says that she wanted her child to have a good Indian name.
"We like the name. Her name is Nisha Kaur Weber. It’s Kaur, since I am Punjabi, as my real name is Karenjit Kaur. I always wanted that whatever names we choose, the middle name is Singh or Kaur. When I looked up the meaning of Nisha, it’s the Hindu goddess of night," she told the media.
Talking about parenthood, Sunny says that it's all so new and still settling in.
"Right now, it’s all so brand new because it has just been a few days. The moment we got the picture (of Nisha); I was so excited, happy, emotional and [experienced] so many different feelings. We literally had three weeks to finalise everything. Usually, people get nine months to prepare (laughs)," she says.

"I think the best part is when she looks at you and smiles. She wants to be around us. She copies and mimics us which is very cute," she added.
