Mark Zuckerberg's Paternity Leave Announcement is Giving All Dads Major Parenting Goals

This is a must-read for all dads!

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, who is expecting his second child with wife Priscilla Chan, has announced that he will be taking two months paternity leave. He is going to be splitting it into two parts - he will be on leave in the initial month “to be with Priscilla and the girls” and then again in December to “spend the whole month together”.

Mark had also taken two months off when his older child, Max, was born.

He signed off saying, “I'm looking forward to bonding with our new little one and taking Max on adventures."

How often do we get to hear something like that in India? And even if dads do take paternity leave - a week, two weeks, a month maybe, what do they end up doing? Do societal norms allow dads to take up equal parenting roles?

Are you a hands-on dad or know someone who is? We would love to hear your story!
