Welcome to Week 2 of Kiddy Kitchen! Here’s an exciting line-up of recipes for your 7-12 month olds put together by Healthy Eating Habits Expert Deepti Arora.

Deepti has some advice for you to consider:

Between 7 and 9 months is a rapid development period for your baby. At seven months, your baby may still have no teeth but you will probably notice the baby drooling more than usual and chewing on almost everything. Once your baby is a little older (about eight months), you can start introducing more solids in meals.

Always remember to introduce one new food/food group at a time and let the child get accustomed to the taste, check for allergies and then move to the next.

In addition, you can offer other dairy products, water, diluted fruit juices or herbal teas with meals if the baby seems thirsty.

Vegetable Combo

  • 1/8th cup fresh beans
  • 1/8th cup peas
  • ¼th cup zucchini squash
  • 1/8th cup chopped carrots

Add all the ingredients to a pan and add enough water
