Hello  mommies!

As a mother  of a 9 month old baby I am constantly on the lookout for creative ways to introduce fruits and vegetables to my baby.
Last week I made this yummy vegetable puree. And  I thought of sharing the recipe with you.

You’ll need these ingredients:-

  • Broccoli
  • Spring onion leaves
  • Tomato
  • Spinach
  • Carrots
  • You can add in some coriander too.

Make sure you wash them thoroughly.

Add a little water and Cook them in the pressure cooker for about two whistles.

When it cools down, blend them together in a blender.

Your vegetable puree is ready. You can add a little salt if your baby is above 1 year of age.

You can give this to your baby in different ways:

1)Add a spoon in your baby’s dal
2)Make a colourful roti by adding the batter in the dough
3)Just add a little more water and some cow’s ghee to make a delish soup
4)Add cooked porridge or tiny bits of roti for a fuller meal
5)I even tried this puree as a sauce for organic baby pasta

This recipe is an absolute hit with my baby.
Try this and tell me how it fared with your  baby!
