It has happened so many times that I hear a Bollywood dialogue and I think, “Wow, this is exactly what I need!” And guess what? Our Bollywood movies are a treasure trove of dialogues that perfectly fit some of the most hilarious parenting situations.

 

I have put together one such list! If you have more dialogues, feel free to add them in comments below and let’s compare notes!   

1. Don ko pakadna mushkil hi nahi, namumkin hai

Isn’t this precisely what your 10 month old must be muttering in his baby babbly language when you have to change their diaper? Because ‘active baby ka diaper badalna mushkil hi nahi, namumkin hai’!!

Struggling with your baby’s vaccination schedule? You’re not alone. All the pediatrician gives you is a date after date after date and the vaccination schedule never seems to end.

3. Mogambo khush hua

When your husband, after ages, finally likes something you have cooked. Yeah right Mogambo, you have now exhausted your annual quota of Tasty food!! Laugh at that!

4. Ek bar joh maine commitment kar di … uske baad toh main khud ki bhi nahi sunta

Your toddler is fiddling with a tube of toothpaste. You ask him not to mess it up, but he does not listen and there you have the entire tube out on the floor, and a toddler smiling. You fume and go to him and ask him “ Kyu kiya?? Maine mana kiya than a” and snap comes the answer:–

5. All is well

You walk into your room and see Atta strewn on the floor, moisturizer generously poured on to it, Nutella being rubbed on the sibling and water pools made in the entire house in order to “clean the mess”. You keep a hand on your heart and tell yourself:–

6. Kabhi kabhi kuch jeetne ke liye kuch harna bhi padta hai, aur haar kar jeetnay wale ko baazigar kehte hain

When you actually did not win the game with your kids. They won the round and you say that dialogue to hide your embarrassment… gosh! They got your smarty genes!

When dad is scolding the child, this is what your child says!! The ultimate savior, MAA!! Take that dada!!
