Fun Learning Activity: Spoon Boon

Material You Need:

 

Seeds or Grains

Spoon

2 Bowls/Cups .

 

Method: 

1- Begin this activity by placing the bowl  in front of  your toddler and handing them a spoon and a plastic cup.

 

2- Next, ask your toddler to transfer all the grains to the other empty cup/bowl (you can always show them once and then hand over the spoon).

 

3- Once the bowl gets empty ask them to repeat the same. 

 

It helps in learning skills like:

  • Following rules
  • Self regulation
  • Creating habits
  • Hand and eye coordination
