The Kala Ghoda Arts Festival is a week long festival and has been running successfully in Mumbai for the last 14 years. Well this was my first time and I am so glad I made it!

It is a celebration of Visual Art, Culture, Heritage, Dance, Drama, Literature & Architecture along with a perfect combination of shopping and food.

My 3 year old was fascinated with the lovely camel, crow, car, clock and a water tap (it was a great work of art) and so were we (it brought back the kid in us). The atmosphere was amazing and it was worth a visit on a hot afternoon.

The trip is incomplete without a visit to the Jehangir Art Gallery, followed by a lovely lunch at Leopold and a walk to the Gateway of India.

The Kala Ghoda Arts Festival has admirers from all over the world and the level at which they hold this wonderful festival is commendable. They have everything for everyone: the location, the set up, the workshops, the celebrity attractions etc. It was an amazing experience and we look forward to attending it every year. It was a day well spent!
