Actor Soha Ali Khan and husband Kunal Kemmu welcomed their baby girl on Maha Navami (29th September 2017) last year. Little Inaaya is six months old already and her parents celebrated her half birthday with half a cake and a whole lot of smiles!

Daddy Kunal Kemmu shared an adorable picture of the family cutting the cake on Instagram. Inaaya looks absolutely huggable in her little white frock and hairband, and what we didn’t miss seeing is a kaala tikka on her head. When you have a baby this cute, you tend to get a bit superstitious, isn’t it?

We even liked the colourful banner at that back that says, “It’s my half birthday.” We don’t know if Inaaya got a taste of the cake but we sure can see that joy on parents’ faces.

Celebrating half birthdays is a fun way to document the six month milestone. If you too plan to celebrate your little one’s six-month birthday milestone, here are some simple ideas.

  • Decorate the house with simple balloons. Baby will love the colours!
  • Introduce your baby to his/her first solid food
  • Buy new feeding gear as a present
  • Dress up in matching outfits and get pics clicked
  • Take your baby to a new park, plant nursery or another place of nature
  • Make a milestone list till year one
  • If you’re having a party, give half a cookie, half a cupcake etc as party treats

Any more ideas? Tell us! And if you have already crossed that stage, tell us how you celebrated it!
