When I came across this book, I was absolutely in awe of how  beautiful and interesting the whole concept was. For me, learning books need to be interesting, something that the child enjoys and wishes to return to for a quick read or browse instead of boring and object of avoidance.

The human body can be quite an overwhelming topic to teach and also to study.  But this book makes the job easy on both sides. I love it that the book actually comes alive. The learning is so interactive and fun. This is so important as it caters to the learning styles of even younger child and allows independent study for the older ones.

The book allows young children to discover the inner workings of the human body in a gently humorous, yet wholly accurate way. Every page is filled with breath-taking bright, original colour illustrations and diagrams displaying all the major organs of the human body. The book contains over 50 flaps which children can lift to reveal extra detail.

This book is full of fantastic information about how our bodies work, on your senses, your muscles, your brain, and yes, how you digest food (everybody loves the poop!).  – “Did you know you breathe enough air to fill about 10k balloons each day??.” PHEW… !!! I did not know that for sure.

From brains and blood to senses and skin – children will love exploring the ins-and-outs of the human body with this fantastic interactive book. I am completely in love with this book and have been also gifting this to my friends children. A definite keepsake in your home library. I am sure you will call me slightly crazy if I say I already have one stashed in my home library for my 1 year old son. (That is how much I love it !!)
