Summers are here, and the kids seem to be more hungry than before, don’t they? And with them being at home all through the day, you will need to be ready with snacks that can be whipped up in a jiffy! A long cooking process often becomes tiresome for every mother. So here, in this blog, you will find a quick and tasty snack for our all-time energetic children, which will also satiate their hunger.

Usually, our children look for creative and innovative dishes which can satisfy their hunger, otherwise you can expect a tantrum. I’m going to focus on nutrition that’s not just tasty and yummy but also healthy for our kids.

Without further ado, here’s presenting a snack that will be gobbled up in minutes but will also give your little one a boost of nutrition and energy!

Badam Dalia

This is one of my kid’s favourite dish! This is a quick, high fibre and nutritious breakfast. It takes only 20 minutes to prepare.

  • ½ cup Dalia
  • 1 cup Hot Water
  • 1 cup Warm Milk
  • 2-3 tablespoons Honey
  • ¼ cup PEDIASURE Cookies and Cream Flavour. (Isn’t this surprising!)
  • ¼ cup Roasted Badam (Almond).

Method

Take a bowl and put dalia and pour hot water into it. Cover the bowl and set aside for 20 minutes, till dalia is cooked. Add PediaSure Cookies and Cream, with honey and warm milk and mix it well. Make sure no lumps exist. Add roasted chopped badam (almonds) and mix it again properly. Now, this lip-smacking and quick Badam Dalia is ready to be served, immediately!

Always remember, kids naturally get inclined towards the food that looks and tastes good, but they feel more attracted when they are involved in the preparations of the food.

Happy Summers!
