Celebrate This Eid With Delicious Sheer Khurma

Ingredients:

  • Vermicelli 50 grams
  • Milk 1ltr
  • Ghee 5 tbsp
  • Condensed Milk 1 tin (200 grm)
  • Chironji 2 tbsp
  • Cashew nuts 10 in number
  • Almonds 10 in number
  • Seedless Dates 5
  • Pistachio 10
  • Saffron

Method:

  • Soak almond pistachio and chironji in water separately, overnight
  • In the morning, remove the skin and wash chop them and keep aside.
  • Heat 2 tbsp of ghee and roast vermicelli.
  • Add 2 tbsp of ghee and fry the dry fruits one by one.
  • In the same kadai, add milk.and let it boil.
  • Add condensed milk, saffron and keep on stirring till it gets a boil.
  • Now, add dry fruits and vermicelli and cook for 5 mins.

 

Sheer khurma is ready. Enjoy!

 

Note:

  • Once Sheer khurma is ready, don’t close the lid fully.
  • If it gets thick later, you can add milk.
  • If you are in hurry you can soak dry fruits in warm water for sometime except dates if you wish to skin them.
  • Dry fruits can be adjusted if you like more you can add more.
